Viva Magazine Publishing Guatemala on Linkin Park
The song delivers on the promise of Linkin Park return to a heavier sound on their sixth studio album, which is due out next June 17.
Production of " The Hunting Party "began as a result of a series of events that led to Mike Shinoda to set aside electronic and experimental sounds of previous work of the band. Shinoda had recorded some demos for the sixth studio album, during 2013. was the taught his companions, who were greeted positively and Rick Rubin , producer of their previous three albums, who also showed positive and added that was more pop than I expected. But after listening again, Shinoda felt dissatisfied with his material.
The band then decided that her sixth studio album was a return to their earlier sound, neglecting electronic effects favoring traditional rock instrumentation. They did all this because for them the current state of rock in the music industry is "weak" and that inspired him to record a heavier disc, to try to bring forward again the sounds of the nineties.
The album took a year of recording and production, with the material being written through improvisation in the studio by the band members.
" The Hunting Party "was recorded in two studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States and according Delson , while recording the band spent five or six days a week working on the study and analyzing the songs until they were compliant with the result.
