Thank you for joining us on Friday, February 21st, for the
Gibson GuitarTown Auction. This was the third installment of the annual
pubic art project and we are grateful that this year all the proceeds
from the auction benefitted Music For Relief. The 10-foot tall Gibson
guitar art sculptures have lined The Sunset Strip for the past year. The
auction took place at Bonhams in Los Angeles and guests were able to
meet the artists of these amazing hand-painted fiberglass guitars. Brad
Delson, of Linkin Park attended the event. The auction raised $52,000.00
and the funds will go towards Music For Relief’s programs for disaster
relief and environmental developments.
